I am going on a trip with a lion, a goat and a box of grass – enough to last my goat for three day.
The goat could finish all the grass at a time if I leave him alone with the box of grass. Hence the
goat and the box of grass must not be alone – not without my presence.
Also, The lion would eat the goat if I leave him alone with the goat – Hence, the lion and the goat must not be alone -not without my presence
Problem: Then I got to a river which I must walk through to get to the other side. Unfortunately, my three subordinates are too heavy to carry to other side – I can only carry each one at a time to the other side. How should I take them – one per each trip to the other side in such a way that the rule is maintained on both sides of the river?
